Outsourcing to Latin America

A survey by Harris Interactive on behalf of Capgemini, a leading provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, found that Latin America is a significant emerging outsourcing destination for U.S. companies. India remains the most popular, chosen by 60 per cent of respondents, followed by China (27 per cent) with Latin America selected by 25 per cent.

USA - Recruitment Outsourcing

According to a recent survey conducted by the Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp - formerly HRI), more than a third (34.4%) of companies surveyed have outsourced portions of their recruiting function, compared with 15.4% in 2005. The positions leading the way in third-party sourcing are executives (56.5%) and experienced professionals (43.5%). The least-outsourced function is supervisors, at 14.5%.


More than one-third of organizations today report outsourcing portions of the recruitment function, compared with slightly more than 15% two years ago.

Canada - Symcor wins multi-million dollar outsourcing contract with Ceridian

Ceridian Canada, a leading human resource and payroll solutions company, and Symcor Inc., one of North America's leaders in business process outsourcing, today announced the signing of a five-year, multi-million dollar agreement which takes effect September 1, 2006. Under the terms of this contract, Symcor will assume the printing and distribution of payroll stubs, cheques and reports for Ceridian's 40,000 customers across Canada.
