Statistics Canada reported that employment fell by 25,000 (-0.1%) largely women's jobs in January and the unemployment rate fell by 0.3% to 6.5% as fewer people looked for work.

This is an interesting post, especially for someone who doesn't know much about HR and Canadian unemployment statistics. However, it's good to see there are HR professionals across Canada posting these sorts of statistics. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised - with great HR programs across Canada at schools like Centennial College - we are in good hands.
